Horizon Solar Power has partnered with local nonprofit organization Desert AIDS Project, to support services to people living with HIV/AIDS in the desert community. For each property owner that goes solar with Horizon Solar Power, a donation will be made to the organization to help with the financial assistance of people living with HIV/AIDS. Desert AIDS Project provides testing, treatment, counseling, transportation, housing and financial assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Horizon Solar Power opened an office in Palm Springs in September of 2013 and is expanding fast throughout Palm Springs and surrounding communities. Horizon Solar Power recently participated in the Desert AIDS Walk to support the organization by having employees walk in the event to help raise money and awareness. By partnering with Desert AIDS Project we are not only supporting people living with HIV/AIDs but also encouraging the local community to conserve energy by going solar. Horizon Solar Power will make a $500 donation* to the Desert AIDS Project for each household that goes solar with Horizon Solar Power who mentions the partnership.
